Daijiro Hama
Daijiro Hama’s KŪKAN and HARMONY looked like flowing water and wind, fluttering meadows and forests, swarming flocks of living creatures, or even minute atoms and molecules. At another glance, they looked like a bird's-eye view of vast mountains or a topographical landscape. It made me imagine a story where each of these dots represented characters such as Hama’s other work, Figure, or humans or other life forms, reminding me of the ancient Japanese belief of the Eight Million Gods, that gods exist in everything around us.
